Aging Primitive--before and after

Dug out another weed from the storage room to work on. I have had these handmade Prim Annie's for years..bought them at a sale for a song at $4.00 each, clothed...I know, they're naked here lol. The clothes I took apart to use as patterns for new clothes, more prim looking. The old clothes were poly and still have their nice bright color..not what my decor is now. The Annie's were too cute to toss and I've been wanting to age them, like, forever!
Here's before:
yech, too bright muslin..
Here's after:
Much better :) Now, I used the same solution on each Annie and can't for the life of me tell you why one turned tanner than the other but I like the looks of both. Now to sew clothes so the Annie sisters don't stay "nekked" as my three year old used to say lol

Outside my door today, yep, another blizzard...

God Bless and stay warm or cool or this point I give up lol!

I like what you did with the dolls' tans. looking forward to seeing their new outfits. I also need to pull out some languishing projects and finish them up.
