there was this sweet lady who started up a blog about her life with quilting, a cat, wool applique and machine quilting. She blogged alot in the first two years, then things started to slow down with life emergencies and then slowed down even further cause her life got really busy and alas, there was not much quilting and not much time to blog. Poor sweet lady! Don't you feel so sad for her :)
Well, I could say "You should!" But in all honesty, that wouldn't be right, now would it? NO! What you should say is "what the heck has been going on anyways!!"
Thanks to everyone who's been emailing me to see if I was OK! Bloggers make such good friends and they notice when you go off the grid lol!
Well, this spring, I've been planning and offering more classes at the quilt shop. I learned one big thing!!! Don't ever ever complain about the price of a class you want to take because you wouldn't believe the amount of work, time and effort that goes into the designing, planning and follow thru of teaching classes! We should all just be thankful that's there's someone willing to offer us classes lol!
I've had other "irons in the fire", so to speak and I have a really big announcement to make later this week! Something really exciting that I can hardly wait to tell you all about! Something so exciting that I think it should involve a "GIVE AWAY PARTY"!!! PARTY! PARTY! PARTY! Oops, getting sidetracked here :)
Anyways, I just wanted to touch base with everyone and say "please forgive me for my absence". I did get one "just for me" project done and that was February's Raspberry Rabbits block. I just love Hannah and Harrington!
I have some gardening tool buttons that I will add after the quilting is done. Now, I need to sit down with my stash and start pulling fabrics for the border pieces.

Can't wait to hear your big announcement!
The rabbits are just gorgeous.
Have you figured out a thread you like better or best yet? Did you name her or him? LOL
Exciting things sound like they're coming your way! Good luck in whatever and I'll be anxiously waiting to hear what it is!
LOVE the rabbits. So cute!
Shelley, you are so right about the classes. Most people have absolutely NO idea how much time and effort goes into planning, preparing, making up sample pieces and variations plus samples to illustrate steps, notes, etc. They only see you standing in front of the class on that day, not realizing you have already put in many many hours before the class... Tell me about it!! If I added up all the prep hours and travel time, to teach a 7 hour class, I'd probably be making about $4.00 an hour.... or less!
Your rabbits are adorable!
Oh, how cute the rabbits are. Really puts me in the mood for spring!
Coelhos lindos.Não se preocupe, por mim você será sempre perdoada,DEUS TE ABENÇOE.
I'm glad you're well and happy and busy! And I must confess, I was SO hoping to see Henri's Friends finished. I just know it's going to be so fabulous and can hardly wait to see it! Keep on keepin' on.

This does sound exciting!! So fabulous that there's something so good coming up!
I was lucky enough to take one of Shelley's classes recently - Embroidery/stitchery. It was a fabulous class. She is really a very good instructor. Lots of examples and take aways, and notes galore for future reference. At the end Shelley had a fabulous trunk show of her vintage linens. One of the best classes I have ever taken. Tks, Marilyn
Glad to see you back! And now you have me curious ... hmmmm...
Soooooooo glad you are ok and can't wait to hear your announcement!!!
Yes indeed, people have no idea how long it takes to teach and design things. Lots and lots of work for sure!
Totally loving your block this month! So sweet!
Oh good! I'm glad you are OK. :)
