Hopping Along

Another winter storm hitting us today so I'm staying tucked in working on some fun things :)  I have Block one of Hannah and Harrington done and aren't they so sweet!

Now I can hardly wait until the next one comes out! 19 more days lol! How am I ever going to possibly make it :)

I received the most wonderful package in the mail this week.  Mary from Quilt Hollow had a wonderful giveaway a few weeks ago for some sweet patterns and I won! Just take a gander at my lovely box of treasure...
The patterns...already have wool dug out :), gingerbread and french vanilla marshmallows..already taste tested and 5* approval!, some wonderful herbal teas to calm my nerves and restore my energy, a two year planner...oh gosh, I can hardly remember what I'm doing most days so now I can plan ahead and keep track :), a devine, love that green!! quilter's sign....already up on my sewing room wall, and the items that made me cry with joy....two old wooden spools!!  Thank you so much Mary:)  The spools have been in several different spots around the house auditioning for the perfect resting place!

Mr. RQ has been home sick all week with the walking pneumonia.  I didn't think the fever would ever stay down but he's on the mend.  He ended up tearing a muscle in his ribcage from coughing so hard.  Darn old stuff!

Happy stitching and God Bless!

I love your first block! I have everything I need to do it but it sits and waits. :-(

I hope your hubby is feeling much better - I've been fighting a yucky crud since Wednesday. The coughing alone is awful.

I saved the block pattern but have done nothing towards creating the real thing. Yours is sweet as can be.

I see Mary sent you some of those marshmallows I was drooling over when I read about them on her blog. Enjoy!
