Isn't this a beautiful scrap quilt!! Mr. RQ bought tickets on it at the Fall Fair on the weekend and I hope I win for two reasons-1. it will look fabulous on the bed and 2. it is made by some really great quilters I know!
The girls from the Elmcity Quilt Guild had a booth at the fair featuring an honest to goodness old-fashion quilting bee!  They even tried their darnedest to put me to work :)...I told them I didn't have my thimble with me but Sandra just pulled out a bunch of them and found one that fit......LOL!
Remember a week ago I mentioned winning the giveaway on Riel's blog...Here it is!!!! Just sweet and I can't wait to make something with it, hopefully before Oct. 30, 2010.

And, I have a new bag!! Imagine that...the bag lady making a new bag...I love this bag and it was so easy to make from a pattern by Lazy Girl Designs called the Runaround Bag.  I like the fact that it goes across my body leaving my hands free and is just the right size to hold my wallet and keys and still leaves room for my giant fabric shopping list! LOL!
Let's see...there's charm packs, thread, more bag patterns, Moda's, Thimbleberries, plaid wool, new seam ripper (wore the old one out playing darts)...Ketchup???  what's that doing on there!  NO, no money for ketchup today!  Happy Quilting!

Thanks for recognizing the ladies of Elm City Guild working so diligently at the FREX. I hope I win the prize so you have a bit of competition. Love the Runaround Bag. Lucy

Oh my word...I'm making that quilt! :-D I started it at a retreat in April, and I'm going to try to finish it at the Friday Night Sew In. So funny -- The Elm City Girls version really is gorgeous, isn't it (it's done in Christmas colors in Scrap Basket Surprises -- I like the scrappy version so much better!).

I love your list. We quilters recycle everything, don't we!? LOL
Blessings,
Mary Lou

Good luck winning the quilt!
I love your shopping list. I've learned the hard way to make one myself when going to the show.
