My goodness, I have had such fun the past 99 posts; and, I can't hardly believe that my 100th post, according to the blog counter, will be this one! That's so exciting; I have met some wonderful people here, shared lots of laughs and been inspired by all the creativity you have; and that is definitely a reason to celebrate :) So, today, we will be having
CAKE!!! Decadent Chocolate with lots of calories and sugar and yumminess! There's lots...plenty for second maybe third helpings LOL! We will have
BALLOONS!! Of course, we won't be looking like these lovely ladies after we eat all that cake but we have all winter to get back in shape again LOL! I really love that pink swimsuit :) Pink is a lighter version of Red ;) afterall! We will have
FIREWORKS! I LOVE fireworks! And of course, we must have a giveaway of gifts! :) Just for you, I have gathered a few of my favorite things for this giveaway; and, because I want to spread the fun around a little, there are 3 gifts being offered.
How about one of my newly made pincushions? It is made from wool applique on a background of flannel Woolies. Didn't it turn out sweet!

Congrats, Shelley! Happy blogoversary. I don't do the follow thing because my 'putter gets all bogged down. I prefer to list all my fav blogs on my sidebar and then spend zillions of hours reading all the new posts every morning. So I guess I'm not eligible to win any of your awesome gifts. But I love you none the less and will keep your wonderful blog on my list of favorites.

Shelley, Awesome milestone!!! I've been doing about 2 posts a week, so at that rate it'll take me a year to get where you are! LOL As long as you keep inspiring, though, I have no fear I'll get there. Love the goodies - especially the pin cushion (we'll all be wanting that one!) Happy 100th post, I found you at the Knot-y Embroidery Lady blog and when it said "red" quilts I just had to come by, I really like to stitch in red. I also had my 100th post just recently and am having a giveaway for it too, come by and register for it. Hey! I am new to the blog world, as I am newly relocated. As I searched the internet for places of interest in this area - namely bakeries, book stores, coffee shops, and quilt shops, I discovered a wonderful quilt shop, was welcomed by a group of quilters, and joined a class, Circuit Rider Quilt - taught my Mary Lou. I follow her blog, and through her am now following yours! 100 posts and counting! I love that pincusion! Sweet. I must comment, as well on your rect post. My grandmother put a needle in my hand when I was five years old. And, in all that time, through my eternal love affair with quilts, I can honestly say that I could never, ever enter one of my quilts in a competition. I, too, am intimidated by the stringent rules. But, I have also realized - I love looking at all kinds of quilts from the very old and traditional, to the downright out there quilts being created by great artists today. And, I can also say, that like me, most folks create quilts for the love of creating! No, I don't quilt so many stitches per inch. More power to those that do. But, I am leaving a loving legacy for my kids and their kids, for my friends and family. Take joy in the morning, joy in the quiltling, and joy in creating!
